Depth Of Field Assignments- Assignment 1

Today i have been experimenting with several functions on my Nikon D3100, after having a briefing on all the functions i felt a lot more confident to go out and experiment with the camera. The images i produced were reflective and inspired by the brief i was given.

The images to follow are from experimenting with aperture, shutter speeds and depth of field.

Firstly i experimented with aperture,by using the same shutter speed of 1/80 and simply changing the aperture i produced these images...

By doing these excersises i learnt that by increasing the aperture you lower the amount of light coming through the lens.
